My sweetie is a police officer, so he works crazy hours. We don’t see each other more than 3-4 nights a week and when we do, we find time for intimacy no matter what. We don’t get a chance to take each other for granted because we don’t see each other as often as most people. And knowing how dangerous his job can be, I don’t allow being tired or busy to be an excuse. I’d hate to do that and then discover it was my last chance.
Our kids are both under 3 so we’ll plan date nights when we can and have the grandparents watch the kids.

We try to make time for just us. At times it can be difficult but one of us will make the suggestion have a “special” night just for us. It can be at home or we find a special deal at the local Marriott and we splurge. We both figure we are worth it. Thanks.

Naked Thursday – ’nuff said
We always have a special date night each week with Champagne and bubble baths and massages.
We still hold hands when we are out together and we always kiss when we are going to be separated – even if it is going into different rooms in the house. We leave little notes for each other all over the house. Also I had spinal surgery in Feb. and he took care of me by bringing me food and books and anything I needed to the couch. He even had to walk the dog and clean up after him – something he really hates….. He is the best!!

We take a day off once in a while, and have a date while the kids are at school.
Not having a lot of time sure does make it exciting when it actually happens!
