Baby Bistro Brands was created by Nutrition Educator, Christina Schmidt. After her sister had a baby, she realized how many questions new mothers had and their confusion about infant nutrition. She wanted to make it easy to access this information and help us raise our babies.
Being a mother of three, you would think by now that I have this down to a science. But the truth is that I struggle daily with making the right choices for my children. I’m often faced with the scenario, feed them something convenient or something nutritious. So you can imagine my enthusiasm when I was given the opportunity to review The Toddler Bistro Box. It is a quick and easy guide to healthy feeding, entertaining your toddler and more! Here is more about The Toddler Bistro Box from the website:
The Toddler Bistro Box was conceived in response to moms who were finding it difficult to come up with ideas of how and what to feed their toddlers! The Toddler Bistro Box covers from 1-3 years, and includes the latest on food and environmental safety, easy recipes, shopping tips, nutrient and supplement needs, toddler personality tendencies, and creative activities. The recipe card format allows parents easy access to information they need as well as the ability to take cards with them to the store. Fun, playful artwork is inviting and inspires tired minds with innovative, healthy feeding ideas. The Toddler Bistro Box supports parents in their efforts to grow healthy, happy toddlers!
The Toddler Bistro Box contains 8 different categories filled with recipe sized cards. Each category is filled with essential information keeping it short and to the point. For example, if you are looking for ways to entertain your 1-2 year old, some of the ideas are to play peek-a-boo around corners, show your toddler how to throw balls or stick to the family dog. Or you might be looking for the best option when dining out, you can check out the Fast Food-Facing Facts. This box is just filled front to back with great information that every family needs.
Do you know how many calories a day your toddler should be eating? I didn’t either. I was surprised to see that my 20 pound little guy only needs 730 calories a day. I figured since he was growing and using more energy now that he is walking he would need more calories than that.

The Toddler Bistro Box is filled with great recipes that are perfect for the little people in the house. If your having difficulties finding recipes that are nutritious and easy to create, this box is definitely for you.
For those of you who have babies or children under 1, the Baby Bistro Box is filled with all the nutrition information you need for your child’s first year.

I’m somewhat torn. I’d love to get the Toddler Bistro Boxfor my friend Laurie, who has a 1 1/2 year old. On the other hand, I’d love to win the Baby Bistro Box for my friend Sarah, who is expecting her first this summer. Well, Laurie and Sarah are also close to each other. I think I’ll go with the Toddler Bistro Box. (By the time Laurie’s daughter has outgrown it, Sarah’s baby will be growing into it.)
