Having a 5 almost 6 year old little girl in the house I know all about Care Bears. Taylor is in love with Care Bears and has been since she was a tiny tot. She has a closet full of the stuffed Care Bears and I believe it was her second Christmas, we bought her the huge pillow type Care Bears. She has Care Bear coloring books, clothes with Care Bears on them, anything Care Bears and Taylor wants it.
When we received this DVD in the mail she was so excited. She couldn’t wait to get it in the DVD player and watch it.
On June 9th, Care Bears: Tell-Tale Tummies hits the stores. The DVD includes 8 brand new, never been released episodes from the new Saturday morning CBS TV series.
Episodes included in DVD:
- The Tell-Tale Tummy
- Oopsy, the Hero
- Bumbleberry Jammed
- Desperately Seeking Mr. Beaks
- King of the Gobblebugs
- Bad News
- Tour De Farce
- No-Snow Day
Care Bears: Tell-Tale Tummies teaches children about honesty, integrity and telling the truth. With so many options on TV or DVD, I prefer to have my children watch movies or television series that are educational and that show moral values.
A feature I like is that each episode averages about 10-11 minutes. My children would probably sit in front of the TV all day if I allowed it. With the episodes being on the shorter side, I can allow them to watch one episode at a time and allow them to do other activities in between.
I also like that this DVD features Kid Friendly Direct-Play, which allows your child to play the DVD without your assistance. For me having a little one in the house with two older children, sometimes I’m not always available the very second they want to watch a movie. I can keep this DVD in the player and when they want to watch a movie it is simple for them to do.
Buy It:
This DVD will be available June 9th with a suggested retail price of $14.98. You can purchase it at many retail outlets nationwide. You can also pre-purchase through the Amazon widget below.

Sponge Bob has to be a favorite at my house with my kids.
I just asked my children their favorites, and they couldn’t decide. The younger one’s first-mentioned favorite was Barbie, but then she changed to Strawberry Shortcake. The older one likes too many to count, but she just said, “My favoritest one is Inspector Gadget.”

This is going to sound super silly, but what gets my girl’s attention the most is Flo from those insurance commercials. No matter what she is doing, if she hears Flo’s voice, she stops in her tracks to stare at the television.
