PlasmaCar Review and Giveaway (Closed)

plasma car red

I’m sure you can imagine my children’s excitment when they received this cool looking contraption?  It was like Christmas in August!

When given the opportunity to review the PlasmaCar, I was so excited for my children.  I had been reading about the PlasmaCar on some of the other mommy blogs that I read and thought that it looked like something that my children would really enjoy.

The PlasmaCar is an innovative ride-on toy that is powered by rotating the steering wheel from side to side.  It is made from high-quality plastics and is rugged and durable.  The PlasmaCar consists of very few parts.  It has six wheels, the seat, footrests and the steering wheel.  Since the PlasmaCar is powered by the movement of the steering wheel, there are no pedals, no gears and no expensive batteries to charge or replace!

The PlasmaCar comes in 6 colors: Red, Pink, Purple, Blue, Green and Yellow.

The kind folks over at PlaSmart, sent us the red PlasmaCar and the whole family loves it!  All 5 of us have been able to experience the coolness of the PlasmaCar and I think it will be a hit for a long while.

The PlasmaCar does not come assembled which was a downer for me, but after watching the hubby put it together, I’m sure I could have done it all by myself.  It literally took him no more than 5 minutes until it was ready to go.

Although PlaSmart recommends that you NOT use the PlasmaCar on laminate flooring, we did.  We live out in the country and don’t have many flat surfaces around here, so we made due with what we had.  So far, so good.  I have not noticed any damage to the flooring.

My 6 year old daughter was the first to give it a spin and she immediately caught on and was speeding around the living room and through the kitchen. She was so proud of herself and had a great time while my 3 year old son was crying while trying to wait patiently to get his chance.  I was a little nervous that he would not catch on as fast as my daughter did, but much to my surprise he jumped on and started cruising.  They absolutely love the PlasmaCar and they constantly fight over whose turn it is.  We have also taken the PlasmaCar outside and played with it on the concrete.

There are many things that I love about the PlasmaCar.  One of the most important to me is that it doesn’t require batteries.  Being the frugal mommy that I am, I hate spending so much money on batteries.  It seems like every toy requires some type of battery. I also love that each of us can enjoy the PlasmaCar. The PlasmaCar can handle 220 lbs on a smooth, flat surface and 120 lbs on a rough, flat surface. My hubby can even ride on it. How awesome is that?!?

While riding the PlasmaCar, I noticed that I was getting quite the workout. I had to use my arm muscles plus my ab muscles. I’m sure I was using other muscles that I was unaware of, but those I could tell were getting a workout.

I like that my children enjoy the PlasmaCar so much even though it requires them to do the work. We totally give the PlasmaCar two thumbs up!
