The Home Depot: Free Do-It-Herself Workshops

The Home Depot is offering free Do-It-Herself Workshops that are designed for women and will teach us how to tackle projects around the house while saving money by doing it ourselves! On Thursday, September 24th at 7:00 pm you can improve your kitchen and stretch your budget as you learn the following skills:

Cabinet refinishing
Cabinet painting and staining
Changing cabinet hardware
Replacing a sink
Replacing a faucet
Changing/upgrading lighting

How cool would it be to be able to do all of that without the help of our husbands or hiring a contractor! This makes me ready for some home improvement projects.

I’ve seen these advertised in my local store and have been tempted. Free education is always a good idea!
