Macy’s Cook for a Cause Giveaway (Closed)

Macy’s has put together an innovative campaign, Come Together, with a goal at feeding 10 million people that are suffering from hunger. Come Together is inviting the public to help out and host special dinners in their homes and asking their dinner guests to pledge a donation to Feeding America. For every donation, Macy’s will match dollar-for-dollar until we reach the goal of 10 million meals. Are you wondering how you can help out? Great, there are 3 ways for you to help out and do your part.

Host: You can host a dinner party for your friends and family and in lieu of bringing traditional host gifts, guests are encouraged to make a donation to Feeding America instead. You can send invitations, manage all the party details, find recipes, etc. on the Come Together website.

Give: You can donate at any Macy’s register. A $1.00 donation will provide dinner for seven people!

Shop: On October 17th, Macy’s customers can shop for the cause and get special in-store savings. A portion of the $5.00 in-store ticket sales will go to Feeding America.

There are some big name celebrities that are behind the campaign as well! This is definetly something that is worthy of your time and effort. Just think about all the people you could help with just $1.00.
