Playskool Kota & Pals Stompers Triceratops Review and Giveaway (Closed)

October is International Dinosaur Month and in celebration, Playskool sent Rylan and Peyton a Playskool Kota & Pals Dinoroars Stompers Triceratops. Rylan is already a fan of dinosaurs so he was mega excited to play and show Peyton how it works.

When you first take your dinosaur out of the packaging you will need to move the power switch to “on”.  It is packaged in the “try me” mode so it will not be able to perform correctly until you do so.  I know from experience.  It really does help to read the instructions.

Triceratops is a soft, lovable dinosaur who loves to roar and stomp.  He comes to life when you pet him.  To hear him roar, pet his upper back.  To make him stomp, pet his lower back.  He roars and moves his head just like a real dinosaur.  Here is a short little video of the Triceratops in action.

As you can see this is a fun, interactive little toy that is perfect for young boys. My boys love it and play with it often.  They also like scaring our poor dog. After about a minute of no interaction with the dinosaur, he will go into sleep mode.  To wake him up, simply pet his back.  If your children will not be playing with him, turn him to “off” to help preserve the battery.

I like this toy so much that I have included it in the my Holiday Gift Guide. If you have a dinosaur fan in the house this would be a great addition to the collection or a great starter for a collection.
