Curious George “Monkey Madness” Giveaway (Closed)

Since I’ve started this blog I have had a number of exciting opportunities come my way. I love being able to try new products, watch movies before they hit the store shelves, offer my readers exciting giveaways, etc. When I try something that I just absolutely love, I tell everyone I know and even some I don’t know. Many times I’ll share a sample that I received and on some occasions I’ll actually give them the product I received to do my review. I write all this to tell you that not only do I use and try the products I receive, but other people I know also benefit as well.

curious george pic In this particular case about 12 little children at our church all received Curious George merchandise. The folks at Universal Home Entertainment sent me a box full of goodies and asked me to have a party. I knew right away that I would have the party at my church and invite the children to participate.

We started the party off with the Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas playing on the TV. I gave each child a ticket that we would use later to pick prizes. The box of goodies we received to give as prizes included: Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas DVD’s, Curious George T-shirts, Curious George Christmas Countdown Books, Curious George CD’s, Curious George glasses and other Curious George related merchandise. curious george a very monkey christmas

The children had a blast with the Curious George glasses. It was so cute watching them all play with their bright yellow Curious George t-shirts and glasses.

Since I didn’t have one of everything to give to the children we drew tickets and let them all pick in order that their number was drawn. Some got to take home a CD, some got to take home a DVD, but what is really cool is they all got to take home something. Universal Home Entertainment sent enough for everybody to take something home from the party.

If you love “monkeying” around, then you will love Curious George. I mean seriously, how could you not just love that cute little monkey face.

Here are just a few pictures of some of the children while they were “monkeying” around.

The children also played a game similar to pin the tail on the donkey except they had to put the butterfly on the log. The blindfold was Curious George eyes and they all looked so cute playing.

Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas is definitely a keeper. George and the Man in the Yellow Hat are counting down the days until Christmas. They are focusing on finding the perfect Christmas tree and finding the perfect gifts for each other. To help the Man in the Yellow Hat know what to get him, George draws him a picture of what he wants. But there is a problem. The Man in the Yellow Hat can’t figure out what George drew and George can’t figure out what to get the Man in the Yellow Hat.

I’m not going to spoil the ending for you but I will tell you it was a hit around here and leave you with a little trailer from the DVD.
