If you have children, I’m pretty sure you’ve bought your fair share of fruit snacks. Now with specially marked boxes of your children’s favorite fruit snacks – Fruit Roll-Ups, Gushers, Fruit by the Foot and Stickerz & Shapes – your child could win one laptop to keep and Betty Crocker Fruit Flavored Snacks will donate another to a child in Africa. Every day until May 30th, one laptop will be awarded to one US winner. For each US winner, one laptop will be donated to an African child through the One Laptop Per Child, an organization that creates educational opportunities for the world’s poorest children by providing each child with a rugged, low-cost, low-power connected laptop with content and software designed for collaborative, joyful, self-empowered learning.
For your chance at winning, simply enter the unique online code printed on any participating Betty Crocker Fruit Flavored Snack packages on the Win One Give One website.

Even though I try, I’m not great at finding ways to do things like this with my kids. But a few months ago, my neighbor was making packages to send to children in Africa and I had my sons find toys that were in good condition to give and then go buy some other needed products – like crayons and toothbrushes.

My favorite volunteer experience was helping foreign-born citizens learn English. It was so much fun to watch their amazing progress, and I enjoyed working with people from a different culture.
My favorite experience when helping someone was the time I donated things left in my mothers estate to a person who was in need.

At 2 1/2 my daughter loves helping others! She has to carry the grocery bags in with us, she has to fill our glasses if they’re empty.. and to encourage her all we do is simply let her do it! Who cares if a bag splits open or the entire milk jug spills? She learns and she loves it!

We made a donation, as a family, to those in Haiti and also in Chile earlier this year.

My 2 & 5 yr old boys are learning that it’s good to give. We give gifts for the needy at Christmas. They love putting the money in the Salvation Army kettles. I also sew pillowcases for the kids at hospitals & they love to help me pick out the material prints at the stores. And of course all the things they outgrow (toys/clothes) go to those less fortunate. My/Our next project is a Pink Quilt for for a Breast Cancer raffle next year. They like to hand me the materials & push the buttons on the sewing maching. My 5 year old knows it’s to help others, like my best friend Kim, who passed away last year, and asks questions about her while we sew. And what a better snack than fruit snacks while we sew?
We go as a family to our local animal shelter to walk dogs. The kids always look forward to it.
Our kids give the toys they have outgrown to Goodwill
I would love to win this Thank You for this great giveaway fancyfeet45@earthlink.net
