Did someone say ROAD TRIP? Well, if you’re taking a road trip in a VW Routan I’d love to tag along!
I remember the days when I was younger and my family and I would take road trips. It was long hours in the car playing the ABC game, Slug Bug, and aggravating my brother as much as I could. Taking those long, boring road trips were hard on everyone.
Now that I’m the parent with my own children taking these road trips, I’m so thankful at how far technology has come. We recently took a trip out to Disney World and the technology in our vehicle made the trip so much easier. Look at these pictures of the interior of the VW Routan! Look at all the room and the double screen DVD system. Pure awesomeness with the 12v power outlets, JoyBox™ Entertainment system, UConnect® Bluetooth® system, roof rack and more. The Routan provides comfort and fun for the whole family!
I’m really loving the way the Volkswagon Routan looks and really loving all the features.

Driving across Pennsylvania in a crowded, overheating station wagon. We had to turn the heat on full blast, and it was 90 degrees outside. Not fun!
I remember the one time where I got to drive across a few states all by myself. It was some much needed alone time.
one year we went driving all over the state of colorado, it was the best road trip ever!

We drove cross-country, stopping to camp, and see a lot of the national parks, spent a couple of months in Denver, Colorado, and then back home again. My father was in school for his company in Denver; each weekend we’d pick another place to go and camp. It was really a wonderful summer that year!!
Thanks for the giveaway!

Ten minutes into a family road trip to Hershey Park, my younger cousin got “car sick” and threw up orange juice in the car – causing others, myself included, to get “car sick,” too!
While returning to Michigan from Ohio after a Thanksgiving Day feast, the weather changed for the worse. With blowing and drifting snow, driving became hazardous. The worst happended, a flat tire. After taking a long time to change the tire, we were able to continue. About 20-miles from home, it happended again. Fortunately another relative was not too far behind and gave me a ride to a store where i could get 2-new tires.
My most memorable road trips were those back and forth to school, driving across Texas in a 30-year old Dodge Dart. The air conditioner had a habit of freezing up and occasionally blowing ice chunks at us through the vents!
We went on a 3000 miles road trip.camping trip last year with the kids. Pulled over in the Rockies to hike and saw a bear in the field we parked next to. Needless to say none of us wanted to hike!

While driving in Texas, our GPS had stated we arrived at our “destination”. We all looked out the windows trying to see our Holiday Inn Hotel and instead saw a shack in the middle of a field. Our GPS had put us 30+ miles away from our real destination! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
My most memorable road trip is when my whole family went to Flordia and went to Disney World in 2003! We had SO Much FUN!
My most memorable road trip was a trip to Virginia Beach with my first love. We rented a car (a bomb) and I kept praying that it wouldn’t break down! We had do much fun on that trip!
I have fun memories of leaving at 2 o’clock in the morning to beat the traffic. It’s great when you’re a kid and get to sleep most of the way!
My parents used to take up from Western New York to Vermont every year to see my grandparents. The most memorable thing about it besides being spoiled by my grandparents was how many times we said “She’s breathing on me” during the trip!
My most memorable road trip was our family trip to Disney when I was young

Going to mount rushmore with my family.
After having been in the car for about 10 hours already we found ourselves in rush hour traffic in Raleigh-Durham. My 3 year old son had to go to the bathroom bad. Our only solution to the problem was to have him go in a soda bottle. He was kind of nervous about it but he had to go bad enough that he tried it and was successful.
The best road trip was when we drove to VA
Beach. It was the first time I had been to the beach,It was fun driving through the tunnels
under water and the draw bridge was cool.We
had a great time at the beach and visited
the light house. My favorite part was collecting
sea shells early in the morning and watching the hermit crabs scurry in the sand

One memorable trip was taken with my 5 children. We drove to Yosemite, got the last camp site available over a holiday weekend and had to set up the tent in the rain. It was the most fun trip! We hiked to the top of every waterfall and ended up extending our one week vacation to two weeks.
My most memorable road trip was the trip our parents took us on to Myrtle Beach when we were young. It was our first trip to the beach. We had so much fun. Dad cooked on the beach and we had a hotel room on the beach.
Driving out to San Antonio in college with sorority sisters where we had a major car accident where the car nearly rolled over. Thankfully we ended up crashing off the highway and all of us were unhurt.
Travelling across country as a kid and making a point to stop at every Stuckey’s for souvenirs.

While my husband was deployed overseas, I decided to take my son (who is 10),his best friend (10 also), and his friend’s 8yrold sister to Thermopolis Wy, which is about 6 hours from where we live. We were on our way to Sheridan WY to drop off my 3yr old to stay with my parents. My son’s friend has a very weak stomach when it comes to certain things. My 3yr old was eating a cracker and decide she didnt want it anymore and spit it out. So my son’s friend was looking at her while she did this and vomited all over the side of my car. It made for interesting conversation all the way to Sheridan.
