At the beginning of the month, I had the opportunity to attend the #BloggersGoGlobal event that was hosted by Global Resort Homes and the Kissimmee CVB. The event allowed the bloggers attending the opportunity to visit many attractions around the area.
This was different than many of the brand events I attended before simply because of staying in a hotel room, we stayed in a Orlando Vacation Home that was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
This home was in a magnificent gated community that was manned 24 hours a day. The house was fully furnished in contemporary decor and the owner even put up a Christmas tree for us. The house has six bedrooms and four bathrooms and comfortably sleeps twelve people. While this may be more room than needed for a normal sized family, it would be perfect if a couple of families were doing a vacation together.
In this particular house, there are two rooms beautifully decorated for the children. Each of these rooms has two twin beds which makes them perfect for two little people per room.
The owners outfitted this home just as they would if they were living in it themselves. The beds feature top-of-the-line mattresses (which are absolutely fabulous), gorgeous bedding and stunning furniture. Each room also has it’s own flatscreen television.
This particular home features an air-conditioned game room that has enough to keep the whole family entertained. From the huge flat screen TV to the competition size slate pool table, air hockey table, and foosball table, you probably won’t need to leave the house. Although since you’ve traveled all the way to Florida you’ll probably want to experience all that Florida has to offer.
The house also features a lovely kitchen that is fully furnished with stainless steel appliances, silverware and Disney-themed place settings. There are also place settings for the adults, but while we were there, we proudly used the Disney-themed items.
And at the end of a long day, what better way to relax than with your very own private pool and hot tub. The backyard is fenced plus the pool and hot tub area are in an additional fenced area. Plus, if you are traveling when it’s a bit cooler in Florida, the pool is heated. While we were there, a couple of the girls took a dip in the pool and they said it was quite comfortable.
This beautiful home boasts 3500 square feet and I can’t imagine vacationing any other way again. Having the privacy of a home, being able to have all my clothes washed, dried and folded before I even leave and having the comfort of classy furnishings makes me wonder why I’ve never stayed in a vacation home before.
The cost for staying in this particular home is between $2,195 – $2,795, depending on the season. That averages to about $315 – $400 a night. If you go in with another family, that cost is cut in half. And believe me, the house is more than big enough for two families.
