My Trusted Work Companion

There is no denying that I’m one busy lady. Between my job outside of the house, my children, my husband, the household duties plus this blog that pretty much requires full time hours, sometimes I’m screaming for just a couple more hours. What I could get done with just a couple more hours.

I often go to bed much later than I had hoped for and get less sleep than I’d like. It just seems that there is always something that needs to get done before I can lay my head on the pillow at night. And this is where my trusted work companion comes into the picture.

I know many people drink coffee first thing in the morning (like my husband) as their wake up call so to speak, but I often use coffee as my I-know-I’m-tired-but-I-can’t-go-to-sleep-yet crutch. When I’m working with strict deadlines, laundry and dishes and I have no other alternative, coffee is my BFF. My one true friend that stays up with me all hours of the night, making sure I get everything done.

I’m not one of those people who can drink coffee straight from the coffee maker and always use sugar and creamer. I recently picked up the International Delight Cold Stone Creamery Sweet Cream at the supermarket and have been using this as a nice compliment to my trusted work companion. With this creamer, you really don’t need to add sugar, which is always a plus to me. It adds just the right about of sweetness and gives my coffee that nice mocha color that gets me excited for the next sip.

If you were to look in my office window, this is what you would normally see. My laptops (yes there’s two) with a big ‘ole cup of joe. I figure if I have to be awake, I might as well enjoy myself.

International Delight has recently updated their packaging and you can check out the new packaging on Facebook!
