John Frieda Styling Tools Review + Giveaway (Closed)

As a H-E-B Beauty Blogger, each month I get to bring you a new product that I’ve had the opportunity to try out and test in my own home. This month, I’ve been using John Frieda styling tools including four different brushes plus a new hair dryer.

Since I have a full head of thick hair, it takes a good amount of time to dry my hair.  With the Full Volume hair dryer, it takes about 25-30 minutes, which saves me approximately five minutes or so. While it isn’t a huge difference, it is five minutes and I’ll take that any day.

The dryer features a lightweight AC motor with 1875 watts. The advanced ionic technology produces up to 50% more ions. With three heat settings and two speed settings this dryer can easily adapt to all different hair types.

I do not like the placement of the heat and speed toggles because when drying my hair, I noticed it was too easy for my hand to change the setting.  If I could make any improvements to this dryer, it would be the toggle placement.

Out of the four brushes I received, my favorite by far is the Sleek Finish paddle brush (pictured on the far left)!   My hair has a natural tendency to have flyaways and this brush helps. Each of the Sleek Finish brushes are Tourmaline-ionic infused, which increases shine, reduces frizz and smooths flyaways. That makes me, one happy camper.  The handles are easy to hold and the bristles are gentle on the scalp.

I haven’t used the two round brushes all that much, simply because of a horrible childhood experience.  If you’ve ever had your hair tangled up in one, then I’m sure you understand the fear.  But much like the Sleek Finish brushes, the round Volume brushes are also Tourmaline-ionic infused which give you more shine, less frizz and smoother hair.  I used them a few times when my hair was almost dry just to give a slight curl towards the end of my hair.  I liked not having to use an iron afterwards to get the same effect.

You can purchase these John Frieda styling tools at your local H-E-B or any store than sells hair and beauty supplies.  Make sure to print this coupon to use on your next purchase.

I’d Love to try the Sleek Finish Brush. I use John Frieda styling oriducts for my regularly frizzy nasty hair and this would be the perfect match (I hope)
