If you’ve been visiting any length of time, you can see that I work with brands. In fact, lately, most of the articles I’ve written have been a partnership in some way, with a brand. I’m not secretive about it, I don’t try to hide it and honestly, I’m excited to be working with brands.
But, before you start thinking that I’m a sell-out and I work exclusively with brands, there is so much that goes on behind the scenes that you don’t see.
Yes, I work with brands.
Yes, I promote products I like.
Yes, I receive promotional product.
Yes, I enjoy what I do.
But, no, I do not work with every brand that approaches me. I’m very selective in the brands I decide to work with. In fact, I turn down opportunities, more than I accept.
The reason I work with brands is because I enjoy writing. I enjoy creating relationships with the people behind the brands I use in my house each and every day. I enjoy being able to share my true and honest thoughts and opinions on products that these brands send to me, so that I can give you, the consumer, my honest feedback. I enjoy reading comments that come in on the blog from people who have found what I’ve written to be helpful in some way, encouraging and at times, how those comments are even helpful and encouraging to me.
As a blogger, online influencer or whatever you want to call me, brands come to me because they are finding out in their research, that it’s people like me who share relevant content, in an authentic and transparent way, that are influencing the market today. It’s because we want to tell a story, rather than scream or throw advertising your way.
That’s why I love working with BlogFrog. They totally get the online space and understand that people don’t want to preached at and don’t want to be bombarded with an agenda during the limited amount of time they spend online.
Instead, BlogFrog has brought awareness to “influencer marketing” and have given writers like me the ability to partner with brands in a natural and organic way through sponsored conversations. Through these conversations, I am able to bring you relevant content in a way that is more natural for me to write and for you to read.
In fact, I’m sure sometimes, you aren’t even aware that a post is part of a sponsored conversation until you get down to the very bottom and see the conversation box. And quite frankly, that is exactly how I intend for these types of posts to be, relevant, organic and an authentic conversation.
As a part of the BlogFrog Influencer Circle, I have the opportunity to create meaningful, authentic content for the brands I love. If you’re a blogger interested in new opportunities, join BlogFrog’s Influencer Circle and check out some of the top brands already working with BlogFrog.
