World Premiere of Brave at the Dolby Theater

Attending the premiere of any movie is an experience you don’t want to pass up, if given the chance. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to attend several over the past two years and the experience never gets old and boring. The excitement is always there and the thrill of walking past all the stars is exhilarating and breathtaking.

This past weekend I was invited out to Los Angeles as a guest of Disney and Pixar to attend the World Premiere of Pixar’s Brave. With Brave being Pixar’s first film with a female heroine, you can imagine the excitement and anticipation that surrounded the film. It was a star-studded event with a vibrant and eclectic Scottish influence.

Given that I’d been given a sneak peek of the movie and that I have my very own brown-haired Merida living at home, I wanted to see more of the relationship between her and her parents. Being able to see the whole movie for the very first time in the Dolby Theater (where the Oscars are held) was truly a unique experience.

The after party featured Scottish inspired food and desserts with different areas throughout that provided the chance to try your arm at archery, take pictures with the green screen and even the opportunity to try Haggis, which I did NOT do. Celebrities were there with their children, mingling and having a great time.

I feel so honored to have been a part of this incredible opportunity. The night was filled with fun, food and memories that will last a lifetime.

I was invited to Los Angeles as a guest of Disney and Pixar. Most of my expenses were paid and all opinions are my own.
