Chuggington has become a big name in our house and I often hear my little people singing the Chuggington theme song. I love Chuggington because all three of my children watch it and the playsets encourage them to play together. We recently received the All Around Chuggington Set from Learning Curve, and boy are my little guys excited about this! As we pulled everything out of the box and started taking inventory, my oldest son about had a fit from all the excitement.
The All Around Chuggington Set is an interactive railway that brings all your favorite engines to life with the super-cool SmartTalk technology. SmartTalk technology allows the engines to interact with each other and the different stations throughout the railway. This interactive set features over 250 sounds and phrases when used with other Chuggington Interactive products.
I will say that it is a little tricky to set-up though. My hubby was busy doing other things when I decided to put it all together, so it was all on me with two little boys watching, to get it to work. The pieces are labeled on the bottom to make it easier, but some of the directions weren’t very clear and it didn’t help that the photo on the front of the box and the directions in the box showed two separate things. My husband was finally done doing what he was doing and he helped me finish it all up. I did about 85% of it all by myself though. Just had to throw that in there.
The All Around Chuggington Set features spiral elevation, 60 total pieces, a three foot layout and includes 3 interactive train stops: a loading yard, a tower platform, and a roundhouse with an Interactive Vee figure. It also includes an Interactive Wilson engine, a hopper car, and 6 pieces of cargo.
We also received the Chuggington Interactive Railway Engines and listening to all the engines interacting with each other thanks to the SmartTalk technology is totally cool. We received all ten of them which includes:
- Dunbar & Flatbed
- Irving & Recycling Car
- Frostini
- Mtambo
- Action Chugger
- Chatsworth
- Brewster
- Harrison
- Koko
And don’t forget, Wilson comes with the All Around Chuggington Interactive Set so, we have a total of eleven Interactive Engines to keep the boys busy. I think the engines talk more than my boys do while they’re playing (haha). Each engine has their own catchphrases, features over 60 sounds and interacts with their fellow engines.
I don’t like how many batteries that these Interactive Sets use though. Each engine requires two double A’s and the train set uses nine. We haven’t had to replace any batteries yet and the set and engine already come with batteries, so I’m not sure how long they last. Just remember to turn them all off when they are not being played with.
If your kiddos love Chuggington, then they will go bonkers for all this!
Buy:
You can purchase the All Around Chuggington $69.99 and each Interactive Engine retails for 14.99!

My nephew has this set, when I bring the kids over to visit.. that is the 1st thing both the guys and gals love to play with. I like the shows, they always end up with the good morals that you don’t need to be faster, or take on heavier loads to get the job done right.

My 3 year old grandson in into trains and has a wooden set on a platform, but this interactive one sounds like SO much more fun…plus small enough set to bring to grandmas’! I have been hearing a lot about this brand lately! Looks like quality toy!
