Decorating the Christmas Tree with Hallmark

One of my favorite things about holiday decorating is the Christmas tree.  The sparkly ornaments and the glimmering lights always have a way of lifting my spirits.

Over the years and since becoming a parent, my Christmas tree sure has changed. Instead of being elegantly decorated in coordinating lights, bulbs and ribbons, it’s now adorned with action heroes, princesses and sentimental memories of first Christmases.  In fact, we’ve collected so many Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments, we’ve had to get another tree, one dedicated just for the children.

We received some new Hallmark ornaments to add to our tree this year and the children couldn’t be any more excited.  They really look forward to being able to hang some of their favorite characters on the Christmas tree to enjoy during the month of December.

This is my daughters favorite!  She absolutely loves Barbie and she absolutely loves shoes so it seems this ornament was made just for her. The Shoe Chandelier Barbie Ornament measures 3″ x 4″ x 3″ and retails for $17.95.

Alex the Lion is the star of the show as he balances on his unicycle all while juggling.  The Mane Event ornament measures 3.25″ x 3.25″ x 1.5″ and retails for $14.95.

When it comes to super heroes, my two boys love them all.  When they saw the Amazing Spider-Man ornament, their eyes lit up.  This ornament measures 2.75″ x 2.75″ x 3.75″ and retails for $14.95.

I love being able to get something that the whole family will enjoy, if only it is for a short month.  Every single day my children go up to the Christmas tree and tell me something about an ornament on the tree.  This isn’t something I require of them, it’s just that they REALLY love the tree and the ornaments.

Although the days of elegantly decorated Christmas trees are long gone, each year our Christmas tree gets better and better.
