If your oven is in need of good clean, try Easy Off Oven Cleaner. It’s the easier way to clean your oven.
It’s no secret that I am a self-proclaimed neat freak…to the point where it’s almost an addiction. I have to have clean. If anything is out of place or out of order, it’s grounds for a complete meltdown. No joke. Just ask my husband.
Having three young children and a husband who don’t share my constant need for clean and neat makes life difficult sometimes. I feel like I’m ALWAYS cleaning. I’m ALWAYS picking up. And they continue to cause a mess for me. Do you see why I have meltdowns? It’s like an endless cycle that just keeps repeating itself day in and day out.
Some of the places that aren’t seen all the time don’t always get the attention they need. For instance…my stove. The other day I was making baked potatoes and just laid them directly onto the wire racks in the oven, not even thinking the olive oil inside the foil wrapped taters might leak out. It wasn’t my brightest moment but I know not to do that again because it left a big mess.
Easy Off Oven Cleaner
My oven is a self-cleaning oven but if you’ve ever been to Texas, you know it gets wicked hot. The last thing I want to do is set the self-clean feature which lasts for four hours and heats the house up even more. That’s why I use Easy-Off.
Easy-Off is the #1 oven cleaner because its powerful formula eliminates baked-on grease and food spills with 5x more grease-cutting power than the leading all-purpose cleaner. There are two different formulas available to fit your oven cleaning needs. I prefer the Fume Free which is safe to use in self-cleaning ovens and does not emit any of those nasty, caustic fumes that takes days to air out of your house. You can also get the Heavy Duty formula that cuts through the toughest grease in less than five minutes.
I’ve always used the aerosol Easy Off and was incredibly thrilled to see a non-aerosol option available. Since this was my first time using the non-aerosol version I wasn’t sure what to expect but it worked just as good as its aerosol counterpart.
Since I was only focusing on the one area where my baked potatoes decided to create a mess, I didn’t do a deep clean. I simply sprayed the area with Easy Off, let it sit for five minutes and crossed my fingers it would work. While it did take some elbow grease to get it all off, the majority came off with the swipe of a sponge. The area around the edges of the mess seemed to be the hardest part to get off.
The Fume Free Easy Off is definitely the way to go if you are sensitive to smells. The light hint of lemon is much better than the alternative.
I know my time is valuable as I’m sure yours is as well. Don’t waste unnecessary time cleaning your oven. Pick up a bottle of Easy-Off next time you’re out for a quick and effective clean. “Life is better when the cleaning’s EASY.“

My oven stays pretty clean since I use a liner, but I’m itching to try this on some spills that I do have on the bottom because I’m not a fan of the self-cleaning cycle.
