I remember it, just like it was yesterday; where I was, who I was with and the looks on everyones faces. To be honest, I did not believe the news reports. There was no way that our country was being attacked. Then I started seeing pictures and my heart sank. It was real. They weren’t lying. Our beautiful country was under attack. We lost innocent people.
Take a second today and hug those around you, tell them that you love them and say a prayer for those families who lost someone.

Those photos are etched in mind forever and pray for all of those who lost their lives that day. I also pray for the loved ones they left behind. A very sad day 🙁

I remember that day as well as if though it was yesterday. The flag reminds me that we asa nation must come together whether race age or religion to love one another in spite of what may come our way.

I, too remember that day as if it were only yesterday… I will never forget.
I hang my flag outside every year and say my prayers for those we lost and those left behind. I thank God for the heroes who tried to save them that day and for our military who are protecting us every day.
May God watch over your family today and always. Wishing you health, happiness, love and safety.

At least you said it as it was, an attack. That was what it was. Some people seem to be frosting over that fact.
They keep saying forgive and forget. I have no problem with forgiving, but I think it’s not wise to forget. If we forget then how easily it could be to forget to pray that it never happens again.

It’s amazing that it’s been that long. On one hand I can’t seem to remember what life really was like before…but then again, it feels like just yesterday I couldn’t take myself away from the tv watching all of the horror.
