Being a Chuggington Conductor allows me the opportunity to check out Chuggington merchandise before it hits the  market.  I was recently sent the five newest books launched by Scholastic that will be available this month nationwide.  When I opened the box, all three kiddos were excited to see Chuggington books!

The five books we received are:

1. The Chugger Championship

It’s a hot new train property for the 21st century. All aboard! It’s time for the annual Chugger Championship race! Wilson and Koko are both determined to win. But when Wilson breaks down during the race, will Koko come to the rescue or make a break for the finish line?

2. All Around Chuggington

Get on board with this hot new train property! There’s always something exciting happening in Chuggington. Lift the flaps to find out what big loads Brewster is hauling, what silly animal is hiding from Wilson, where Koko’s important mission is, and more! Includes more than 40 flaps!

3. Welcome To Chuggington

Join Wilson for an exciting tour of the Chuggington! Board book.

4. Let’s Ride the Rails

Readers can help the chuggers earn their train skills badges – and collect their own sticker badges along the way!

5. Wilson And The Ice Cream Fair

It’s a hot new train property for the 21st century. All aboard! There’s an Ice Cream Fair in Chuggington and it’s up to Wilson to deliver the cars with all the new flavors! This Level 1 reader is trainstastic for children learning to read! All aboard!

My kiddos are totally digging Chuggington at the moment and these new books have already been put to good use.  My oldest loves to read and I’ve found her several times this past week reading to her brothers before bedtime. (I love when my children actually act like they like each other.) Since my youngest is almost three, and these books are appropriate for children 3 and up, all of these books are perfect for all three of my children.

And if you have children and are unfamiliar with Chuggington, I highly suggest that you check them out!  Chuggington is a preschool television series that follows the humorous adventures of three ‘trainees’, Koko, Brewster and Wilson, as they learn to ‘ride the rails’ of life.  It focuses on strengthening kids’ social-emotional skills, lessons about being a good friend, respect and telling the truth.  It airs daily on Playhouse Disney.

    We haven’t done The Disney Movie Reward Club. My daughter got several Disney movies for Christmas. After reading about it on your sites and others, maybe I should start too. Every little bit counts!

    My son is obsessed with trains and LOVES Chuggington – I asked who his favorite was and he could not decide – LOL! He likes all three trainees – Koko, WIlson and Brewster.

    we just started watching this show and my boys like it a lot the like brewster We teach the like things and love people…Love isway over used does anyone agreewith me or do we go over board with this
