Before children, I wasn’t really much of a coffee drinker, but now I drink a cup of coffee more often than I’d like to admit.  I recently received the Tassimo T20 Single-Serve Brewer for review and a gourmet cup of coffee at home has never been easier.

I received the brewer in black which is nice because it matches some of my other counter-top appliances.  When I first opened it up and took it out of the box, I was quite impressed with the stylish and modern design.  It’s one of those items I don’t mind having on my counter-top.

I wasn’t a big fan of just the plain black though, so I opted for a color kit to give it a little more personality.  What do you think? I think it looks so much better.

You can mix and match the pieces to get different looks, depending on your mood of course.

The Tassimo features an innovative barcode technology that delivers the perfect drink every.single.time.  The brewer reads the barcode and knows exactly how to brew your cup of coffee, espresso, etc.  The brewer is immediately ready to brew your cup of coffee and your cup of coffee is ready to drink in just minutes.  You can brew a cup of coffee and immediately brew a cup of tea with no taste transfer in between drinks.

The Tassimo T20 also features a 1.5 liter removable water tank and is also equipped with a noise reduction system.  It’s very easy to use because of the fully automatic one-button operation.  There really isn’t a learning curve because there is only one button and then the on/off switch. Another feature that is sure to be a time saver is the automatic cleaning and descaling program.

I’m totally in love with the Tassimo T20.  But as with many of the products I review, I have to tell you about the aspects of the machine that I’m not in love with, like the splashes that get all over my counter tops.  Also, because I’m a busy mommy I would like to see future models of the Tassimo come with an auto-off feature.  There have been several times I’ve left it on – oops!

    It would be so awesome to try the Starbucks Coffee TDisc. I would be able to leave home in the morning with my Starbucks in my hand. I leave so early for my commute that Starbucks isn’t open yet.     I would love to try the Twinings Chai Tea Latte. I love Chai Lattes but do not get to have them often, because it is not something that I can make at home.
