Hollywood and Beverly Hills, Here I Come

That’s right, folks! This Friday, this shy Texas girl is leaving my quite country living and flying out west to California to meet some other amazing mommy bloggers for the Red Carpet Premiere of Gnomeo & Juliet.

Um, to be honest…I’m totally freaking out.  It’s bad enough that I’m fashionably challenged, but I’m going to be face-to-face with freakin’ Elton John.  I’m pretty sure what’s going to happen is I’m going to forget how to speak.  You know, like you see in the movies where you just kinda stand there and stare and try to speak but nothing comes out.  I’m pretty sure that will be me.  I’m just a little freaking out…

I just received the full itinerary and I can’t wait for the weekend to start. It’s totally packed with activities and there is even a “special surprise” planned for Sunday that I’m hoping is getting my hair and makeup done for the Red Carpet. If not, I’m sure it will be just as fun though.
