Energizer Inductive Charger

Technology keeps getting better and better and I love being able to try out all the new gadgets on the market.  I recently received the Energizer Inductive Charger for review and I’m loving how easy it is to charge my iPhone.

The Energizer Inductive Charger is the next generation charging technology for smartphones.  It offers you a simple, convienent way to charge your smartphone without the use of irritating cords and/or cables.  There’s nothing like fumbling with the cord to charge your phone when your half asleep.  The advanced technology behind the Energizer Inductive Charger features Qi (which is pronounced chee) and is the new standard for inductive charging regardless of the manufacturer.  If your smartphone does not have Qi built in, you can purchase a Qi accessory.

Along with the Energizer Inductive Charger, I also received the Energizer iPhone Sleeve that fits nicely on my iPhone and makes it compatible with the Energizer Inductive Charger.  The sleeve was super simple to put on my iPhone, which is always a plus in my book, and it will help keep my phone safe in case of accidental drops and my 3 young children.

Having the sleeve on the iPhone does make it just a bit bulkier but I think it serves a double purpose as I mentioned above.

The Energizer Inductive Charger offers a large charging area which gives enough room to charge two devices plus it also offers an additional USB charging port. I love the freedom it provides when placing your smartphone on the charging area. As long as you place the smartphone within the two large inductive charging areas, your phone will charge unlike other similar products that require precise placement.  The sleek, rounded rectangle design is easy on the eyes and the LED charge indicators let you know when your phone is charged.

I think the Energizer Inductive Charger offers a user-friendly experience and a hassle free way to charge your smartphone.  However, the sleeve only comes in black and personally, I’d prefer to have a more stylish option.  I also noticed that I can not charge my phone while traveling in the car because there is not a cut out on the bottom of the sleeve.  To charge my phone in the car, I have to completely remove the sleeve.  Currently, you can only use the Energizer Inductive Charger if you have an iPhone 3G/3GS/4 or a BlackBerry Curve 8900.  Hopefully more will be added in the near future.
