As a mom, there are days that I feel as though I wash my hands every time I turn around, and as backward as it seems, washing our hands can really dry out the skin. During the winter especially, I have a hard time keeping the backs of my hands moisturized. I have found only a few lotions will help when my hands become really chapped and red. Perhaps my problem is that I wait until my hands are red and chapped to apply lotion. I have recently started using the new Dial NutriSkin Lotion to my hands every night at bedtime to prevent chapping.
This new lotion features an exclusive BioNutrient Complex that includes essential nutrition for our skin. The variant that I tried was Soothing with chamomile for dry itchy skin. I have really enjoyed this lotion. The chamomile gives it a nice scent without being overpowering or overly floral, and it leaves my skin noticeably softer without feeling oily. It also has a nice smooth consistency; not so thick that it’s difficult to rub in, but not so thin that it runs off your skin either. It is a 24 hour formula so one daily application is all you need to replace your skin’s nutrients.
It comes in four different varieties, and each variant features a different complex of vitamins to meet the needs of that individual. The varieties along with their featured nutrients are:
- Dry Skin with Aloe — Vitamins C, E (antioxidants), Amino Acids (protein building blocks), Omega 3 (balances moisture), Vitamin F (improves elasticity)
- Extra Dry Skin with Shea Butter — Omega 3,6 (balances moisture), Vitamin F (improves elasticity), Vitamins A, C, E (antioxidants), Amino Acids (protein building blocks)
- Soothing with Chamomile — Beta-Glucan (soothing property from oats), Vitamins A, C, E (antioxidants), Amino Acids (protein building blocks), Zinc (synthesis of collagen)
- Men’s — Magnesium (energizes skin), Niacinamide (B3) (conditions skin), Amino Acids (protein building blocks), Vitamins A, C, E (antioxidant boost)

My hands are horrible. From the daycare and washing and sanitizing so much, and me being a clean freak. I’m gonna check this out on my next shopping day. Sounds great.
