My family and I have been on a mission the last few months to change our futures. We weren’t happy with drive-thru meals and pre-packaged convenience, so we’ve slowly been adjusting our meals and activity level so that we can be healthy for the future.
During this journey, it’s nice to see your progress. We had a normal scale that we purchased a few years ago, but I wanted to be able to see more than just my weight. After doing some research online, I found the EatSmart Precision GetFit Digital Body Fat Scale so that I could see the real picture behind my weight.
This sleek looking digital scale with touch screen interface and automatic person identifier has been a welcomed addition into our home. I love that both my husband and I can use it and it’s programmed with each of our personal information such as weight and age.
The EatSmart Precision GetFit Digital Scale quickly measures body fat, body water, body muscle and bone mass using the newest ITO BIA technology. Now the technology in which it measures all that is pretty freaky, as it sends a safe, low level electrical current through your body which allows the scale to analyze your body in real time.
Setting up the scale with your personal information is quite simple and only takes a few seconds. The scale can hold up to eight users and the large 3.5″ blue LCD display makes your readings easy to read.
I love being able to keep a close eye on my body fat, total body water, muscle mass and bone mass. As you can see in the picture above, my current weight is 136.4 (I ate too much at BlogHer) and my current body fat is 18.4%. While I’m not completely happy with how my body looks, I’m getting more excited about the future and how I can make a difference in what I look like.
I have to admit I’m a little nervous about the technology used that is sending an electrical current through my body to take these measurements. So far, everything that I’ve read claims it’s safe, so I’m going to trust that it is and enjoy the fact that I can get instant body measurements.

I have one of these and I love it! You never feel the electrical current, but yeah, it was a little weird in the beginning. My feet would even make a little sizzling sound lol. They are really accurate scales though and I wouldn’t trade mine.

I feel the same way about my self because I want to be healthier and set the right example for my children and I would call this the practice what I preach Method.

UGh i hate the scale but yes why bother if it isn’t super accurate

Crystal, can I say, there is nothing wrong with your weight. You’re taller than me and I’m not going to tell you what i Weigh. I love that scale, I should have said yes to that review. I need a new scale, ours broke!
Kelly says
You look great and from what I can tell are tall (you’re always in the back row of group pics) – don’t worry about your weight. Your body fat percentage is really good too!

I want one of these. I have a digital scale, but it is about 7+ years old.
Cat Davis says
Oh wow, I didn’t even know scales took all those measurements for you. I’ll have to check one out for sure.
Jenn says
We need one of these. It’s so hard to accurately determine BMI just by height and weight alone.
