Being a mommy to three young children, there are some days when I just feel the need to kick my feet up and relax. Do ever have those days?
Now that the children are back in school, things are incredibly hectic around here. Between homework, school lunches, the clothing wars (the diva and I don’t see eye to eye sometimes), plus keeping up with all the other household duties…It can be exhausting and stressful.
The effects of stress to your skin can be quite damaging. It’s best to just avoid stress (easier said than done, I know), but since life isn’t always peachy, it’s nice to have Eucerin Plus Smoothing Essentials Fast Absorbing Body Lotion and Eucerin Plus Intensive Repair Hand Crème to help out along the way.
I’m no expert in managing stress, but here are a few tips to help you manage stress:
Eliminate. I know it’s impossible to eliminate each and every source of stress, but eliminate the ones you have control over. If clutter bothers you, toss it or have a garage sale. If large crowds of people bother you, go to stores in off hours or send your spouse.
Prioritize. Sure there are tons of things that require your attention. But you’re only one person. You can’t possibly do it all!
Be Yourself. It’s not worth competing to be someone you’re not. Love yourself and be confident in who you are.
If you need a little help in pampering yourself and relieving a little stress, you’ll definitely want to enter to win this Relaxation Package from Eucerin.
Giveaway:
One (1) winner will receive a Relaxation Package that includes: Eucerin Plus Smoothing Essentials Body Lotion and Hand Crème, a soothing TheraPearl eyemask, a eucalyptus and peppermint aromatherapy candle, a cotton terry bath pillow and a mini massager!
How to Enter:
Simply leave me a comment below letting me know how you keep the stress level down during this busy back-to-school season!
Extra Entries Available:
After you have completed the first entry, you are eligible for additional entries. Make sure you leave a separate comment for EACH entry. Each counts as one extra entry unless noted otherwise.

I feel the same way that you do and by the way Thanks for doing a Post on Skin Care awareness.I think that this topic needs to be brought up often because the skin is one of the largest organs of the body as well.So why not take care of the skin just like we take care of everything else.

Im a grandmother but I’m still in the “school” stressed out crowd. Every afternoon my grand daughter MUST come to GranMom’s house! I always have her a snack and fix supper for her and her Mom who is a single parent. Just my way of helping out. After they go home I always run a nice hot warn bath and relax. Afterwards I catch up with all my internet friends and then hop in bed with a good read. I’m in dreamland in moments!

I am homeschooling my daughter, which at times being a toddler, can be stressful. When she naps, I take that time for “me time” to do what i feel at that point. Whether that is sleeping, sweeps, cleaning or sewing etc. I also love to have the radio on and dance around, singing and having a good time, to which my daughter also joins in. To see her dance and sing is such a cute joyful thing to see.

I keep the stress levels down by not overwhelming myself buying all the school clothes at one. A few outfits here and there. I buy a good pair of shoes that will last all school year (hopefully). Then when it comes to homework we try to make sure that it’s done right after school. To make it more exciting and try to put a little fun into the mix we keep a chart to set goals which includes brushing our teeth everyday. We use stars for the chart (10 stars=small surprise, 20=med, 30=large surprise…when chart is all the way full with alot of stars that = HUGE surprise). It helps with some of the fussing when it comes to homework because they want a surprise! My huge surprise is Chucke E. Cheese!

I keep the stress level down by remembering to laugh. I have to remind myself that it doesn’t have to be perfect to be fun. Working myself to death so that a party can look like the pages of southern living is only going to cause my daughter to repeat that when she is older. So I laugh and have fun instead because that’s what I want my kids to remember. I’ve also discovered the wonders of foot massage.

1) A shower uninterupted
2)Small glass of port when I get out of the shower
3) Followed by a wonderful foot rub
He is the man!

Having full-time job working 40-50 hrs/week , juggling w/ two boys (1 in 2nd grade) is really taking my energy out. I usually take time to step out and just “window shop”, sip a cup of coffee/tea; walk; and a massage is a bonus. When one is stressed, everyone will be affected, so I tried to breath in and out to get rid of negative bives away.

I never have time to relax with a Newborn especially as a single parent but when I do have time to myself between hrs I enjoy time with my other 4 legged kids who deserve attention and when thats done i go back to my baby.
