VeggieTales: The League of Incredible Vegetables Review
In VeggieTales: The League of Incredible Vegetables, LarryBoy calls in the reinforcements and forms a super group to defeat Dr. Flurry. This evil genius wants to freeze the town in fear, as he has discovered there is power in fear. Dr. Flurry detects the League’s worst fears (the dark, bad hair, monkeys…they are unpredictable, after all). When the going gets tough, the League must remember that when they’re afraid, they can trust in God.
This was my first time viewing a VeggieTales production. I was impressed by both the animation and production value. The title song was pretty catchy, and Georgia has been singing it ever since. There were a lot of references to other hero franchises and movies, perhaps to entertain the parents (like looking for a phone booth to change in). However, this film was geared more towards the child audience.
If you’ve got a caped crusader at home and are looking for a wholesome and fun film, The League of Incredible Vegetables would be a great fit!
