Since the second I became a mother, I’ve been reminded how fleeting these days are. I blinked, and Georgia was five. I try to stop and cherish each day with my family, but sometimes the reality of the sink full of dishes pulls me away from the quality time I’d like to spend with the kiddos. That’s why I love the Disneyland Resort. At Disneyland, I can abandon all distraction and devote myself to creating memories.

With the idea that these special moments together are fleeting, Disneyland has introduced a new concept for 2013: Limited Time Magic at the Disneyland Resort.Limited Time Magic at the Disneyland Resort

With the idea that these special moments together are fleeting, Disneyland has introduced a new concept for 2013: Limited Time Magic. Each of the 52 weeks of the new year will showcase unique themes, dazzling guests with unexpected and imaginative surprises.

What the year will hold for us?  Here are some things to look forward to:

  • Currently, Disneyland is featuring “A Salute to the Golden Horseshoe Revue,” which will run Thursday-Monday until February 4th.   Check out the video of the fun on the Disney Blog.
  • Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your sweetheart (and the kids???) the entire week while gazing upon Sleeping Beauty’s castle draped in red.  Gaze upon your Prince Charming while dining on special menus I’m sure we’ll adore.
  • Bring out your inner-Cruella during the Friday the 13th festivities planned to unleash the villians.  Perhaps I’ll pack my crocodile to ward off ol’ Hook.
  • Impress your preteens presenting the Dapper Dans who will be harmonizing some of their favorite boy band hits as a finale to their show.  I’d love to see Justin Bieber singing Barbershop at Disneyland in the striped pants and hat, but that might be too much!

With the idea that these special moments together are fleeting, Disneyland has introduced a new concept for 2013: Limited Time Magic at the Disneyland Resort.Only some weeks have had released offerings and schedules.  Curiosity will overwhelm me, and I’ll have to check out what the mouse has up his sleeve weekly.  Just like the sweet days of my children’s childhoods, Limited Time Magic and all of the fanciful events won’t last.     I would love to go to Disneyland on one of the holidays. I went a couple years ago with my 3 daughters but yet to take my son. Hoping to go this year.

      Wouldn’t it be fun to be able to visit both parks in a week and compare? Wouldn’t it be fun to visit both parks anytime, ever?!?!

    Since I live next door in Las Vegas, I have been visiting Disneyland since I was a toddler myself. Now that I’m a mother, we take a trip every other year or so. We will be going around the holidays this year and I can’t wait!
