I’m planning my house’s 100th birthday party.  It’s still a few years off, but I adore this old house.  Its got charm and funky details, but is it safe?

When we moved in, my husband asked frequently if I smelled gas in the laundry room.  I never did.  We made an appointment for it to be checked out, and I’m so grateful that we did.  There were 3 gas leaks in our house…3!  We’re now the proud owners of new gas pipes.     I would like to win because we have a CO detector upstairs by the bedrooms, but I want to get another one for downstairs by the garage
