My husband and I agree on lots of things, and showers are one of them. But how he manages to be in and out in less than ten minutes amazes me. Perhaps it’s because there are never colossal preschooler meltdowns or arguments when he gets in.
When I was offered an opportunity to review the Waterpik PowerSpray+ EasySelect Hand Held Shower Head, my first reaction was “That’s a mouth-full.” It’s a good thing it is, because this shower head does a ton!

- Medallion Design Shower Head: The large medallion design allows for a bigger spray of water. It took a little adjusting to get used to the water being more directly above my head, but it’s nice to feel like you’re getting all of the shampoo out of your hair without having to do neck aerobics.
- 5 Spray Settings: Choose and easily switch between five different settings (full body, circular massage, power spray, misting spray, and water saving sprinkle). You can switch settings mid-shower by turning a knob on the handle using EasySelect function. Have “Power in Your Shower” with 5 options!
- 5-foot Hose: Never having used a hand-held shower hose before, I didn’t know what I was missing. Not so much for myself, but in the flexibility it allows for my multi-purpose shower. Giving the dogs a bath in the tub, hosing off the kids’ muddy feet, and the much needed cleaning of the shower itself (after dirty dogs & filthy children it needed it).
- Water pressure: We love water pressure around here. OptiFLOW technology can improve water force by up to 30%. I’ll admit that I don’t use the misting spray or water saving sprinkle often because of the decreased amount of water, but I do appreciate those settings for my daughters who prefer less water.
- Ease of installation: Putting in the Waterpik Shower Head was so simple we did it right the first time. The directions were easy to follow, but it took more effort to get the old one off than to install this one.
Having only lived in our house for 10 months, we have been slowly swapping out things like shower heads, toilet seats, and sprinkler heads. Who knew being a grown-up was full of so many insanely practical decisions!?!? This decision was an easy one, however. Now everyone can have the personalized shower experience they desire, whether we be human or canine.
