This is a partnered post with Hallmark. As always, all opinions are my own.
Have you ever received a greeting card from someone with the exact words you needed to read at that given moment? Just this past week I received a card from a special family with words that really touched my heart. It wasn’t anything fancy or long-winded, just a simple card with a simple message that totally changed my day!
I used to be really great at sending cards to my family and loved ones for every life event and holiday, but over the last few years I haven’t been very good at it. Between life, children and work, unfortunately it just slips my mind. But, one of my goals for 2014 is to be more diligent about sending those I care about simple reminders that I do still care. And the easiest way for me to do that is with a card.
There is a brand new rewards program that launched today that rewards you for sending these simple gestures of thoughtfulness. With the Hallmark Card Rewards Program you earn one reward for every five cards that you purchase from more than 30,000 grocery and drug stores and supercenters across the U.S. And, if you are one of the first 1,000 to register, you will be entered to win $500. Plus, the first 100 to register will receive a Hallmark card pack.
{Have you registered yet?}
Rewards will include options such as gift cards, discounts, and dollars off, from rewards partners such as Land’s End, Starbucks, Omaha Steaks, Nike and Applebee’s. To track your purchases and report cards bought, you can download the free Hallmark Card Rewards mobile app (available for Android and iPhone) and scan the barcode on the back of your purchased Hallmark Cards. If you don’t have a mobile device, you will be able to input the barcodes online at hallmark.com/cardrewards.
I’ve already registered, recorded card purchases and taken a look at the rewards page. I’ve already earned three rewards that will be available for redemption on January 10, 2014 and I’m only 2 cards away from my fourth. When browsing the reward options, I was super excited to see a $5 Starbucks eGift card! Anytime I can get a free Starbucks Frappuccino, I’m a happy lady. In addition to the Starbucks eGift card, there are five other eGift card choices including Nike, Land’s End, Applebee’s, Omaha Steaks, and Cherry Moon Farms.
The Hallmark Card Rewards program is perfect for those who like to purchase Hallmark cards but don’t have a Hallmark store near them. You can now be rewarded for staying loyal while purchasing your cards at over 30,000 stores nationwide.

I feel sending and receiving greeting cards has slipped by the wayside due to today’s technology, but this is certainly one thing I don’t want to see fade away.
