Pregnancy.
An extraordinary experience that is extremely hard for me to put into words.
A period of time in my life where my body wasn’t just my own.
9 months full of anticipation…and worry.
40 weeks that forever changed me.
160 weeks of my life devoted to growing little human beings.
Morning sickness. Weight gain. Stretch marks. Heartburn. Pregnancy glow. Butterflies. Flutters. Kicks. Punches. Swollen ankles. The waddle. Contractions. Pain. Birth.
I absolutely adored being pregnant. All of it.
Starting a family was such an exciting time for me. I read every single book I could get my hands on, watched all the shows about pregnancy and birth, and spent hours scouring the internet for any information I could find.
I’ve often wished I would have documented more of my pregnancy experience. I have some photos, but how awesome would it have been to record a video every couple of days or weeks so that at the end I could have had a personal movie about each pregnancy experience.
Husband and wife team Christopher Henze and Dominique Debroux, conceived Big Belli LLC to produce the 40 Weeks movie, an educational film about pregnancy that goes beyond entertainment. The movie was created to offer emotional and informational support to pregnant women as well as present them with trusted products they will need during their 40 weeks.
40 Weeks Movie
Made for both mom and dad, the movie follows the journey into parenthood. Milestones of pregnancy are presented along with the personal experiences of the film’s expectant couples. To ensure accuracy in the film, 40 Weeks partnered with Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, HealthyWomen.org, and the March of Dimes.
Big Belli partnered with Gathr to bring screenings of the 40 Weeks movie to theaters nationwide. You can sign up to find a screening in your area or to be notified if one is coming to your area. Gathr screenings can only happen if a minimum number of people reserve tickets before a screening request expires. On every screening page you can see the number of current reservations, the number of additional reservations needed to tip the screening, as well as how much time remains before that screening request expires. When there have been enough people to reserve tickets before the screening request expires, the screening will take place. If the minimum number of reservations is not met, the screening does not take place and nobody is charged.

I loved being pregnant as well! All 3 were so easy. It was the getting them out that I wasn’t so crazy about 😉

I loved every part of being pregnant. I was not too sick and I loved feeling them move in my belly. So sweet that this movie was made.

Technology is great isn’t it? My favorite part of pregnancy was all of it EXCEPT the morning sickness which I had for the full nine months.

My favorite part was my son being born! I did not like being pregnant LOL

I love everything about being pregnant, too. I never had morning sickness and honestly had an easy pregnancy up until the last 2 weeks (I went 2 weeks past my due date). My feet did swell and my back about killed me, but like I said, it was just for 2 weeks. The day I gave birth to my son was an incredible day!

As a guy my favorite part was her mood swings, cravings and achiness. Oh wait, those are the things I hid from…
