Last week I told you all about how my children adore Goldfish crackers. Today I’m going to show you how to create a fun bento lunch using Goldfish Crackers.
Goldfish Bento Lunch
As I’ve mentioned so many times in the past, preparing my children a healthy lunch is so important to me. Their little bodies need the proper fuel to get them through long days of learning.
But if you’re a parent you know it’s not always easy making your kids eat foods that are good for them. That’s why several years ago I jumped on board with the bento lunch craze and I’ve been trucking along ever since. I don’t make elaborately crafted bento lunches, but I do create lunches that are healthy and FUN. And the best part, my kids actually eat them. Score one for mama!
In this Goldfish Bento Lunch I tried to include many different colors. They say we eat with our eyes first, so I always try to include items that are pleasing to the eye. Another tip when making your child’s lunch, present it in a way that is fun and appetizing.
This Goldfish Bento Lunch features red and green grapes, vanilla Greek yogurt with blue sprinkles and blueberries, yellow bell pepper strips, Goldfish crackers, turkey boat-shaped sandwiches, and fish-shaped Muenster cheese. Serve with a bottle of cold water and it’s a lunch made for champions. (And much better than the square-shaped pizza from the lunch line.)
After packing this adorable Goldfish Bento Lunch, don’t forget to include a Wet Ones pocket size single. It would be a shame for you to spend time making this fun lunch for it to be ruined by the germs lurking on the lunchroom table.
It’s so important for children to wash their hands while at school. I know my children’s school has designated times where they wash hands, but let’s face it, children are dirty. The wipe their noses and then grab the door handle. They sneeze into their hands and then use the pencil sharpener. Get my drift? I’d rather be safe than sorry folks, so it’s a Wet Ones singles for us each day at lunch. Oh, the things I wished I would have had in my lunchbox.
What do you pack in your child’s lunch?

I love bento’s! I used to make them in college all the time, and they really helped me get through the touch class schedule. This one looks so awesome.
