It’s summer time and here in Texas that means cooling down any way possible. For us, we like to spend time at the pool, out on the boat at the lake, or even with the water hose in the front yard. We’re not picky when it comes to finding ways to stay cool in this scorching heat. But when it comes to our drinks, we can get a bit picky. We like only the best. And this Chocolate Caramel Frappe doesn’t disappoint, y’all.
In the summer we like to party just because. You know, summer and all. The late mornings and the lazy schedules are made for partying, right? We don’t necessarily need to have an occasion to party here in our household. Every day we wake up healthy and happy is a reason to party!
I promise you, the kids don’t mind at all. They love celebrations just because!
While the kids are sipping on something cold and refreshing, the adults can indulge in a delicious and cooling Chocolate Caramel Frappe. It’s the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day!

Chocolate Caramel Frappe
Chocolate Caramel Frappe
Ingredients
- 6 cups ice
- 2 cups chilled brewed coffee
- 1 1/2 cups International Delight® Hershey's® Chocolate Caramel Coffee Creamer
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- Reddi-wip®, for topping
- Caramel sauce, for topping
- Chocolate sauce, for the rim of the glass and topping
Instructions
By making your own Chocolate Caramel Frappe, you can skip the drive thru and save a little cash while you’re at it. I’m always a fan of doing things myself that can save me a little money.
If you don’t already have these ingredients on hand in your refrigerator, you can pick up everything you need at Walmart. Don’t forget that when you’re shopping at Walmart you can price match with competitor ads or use the Savings Catcher feature to make sure you’re getting the lowest prices in your area.
For this Chocolate Caramel Frappe I used International Delight Hershey’s Chocolate Caramel Coffee Creamer because the sweet and creamy flavor helps me to create the perfect frappe each and every time. And when I top it off with Reddi-wip, I feel confident in my choice because it is made from cows not treated with artificial growth hormone and contains no artificial flavors, sweeteners, or hydrogenated oils like the other guys. Even when I’m not making a delicious frappe like this one, both of these products are perfect for everyday use in a regular cup of coffee.
When I say making this Chocolate Caramel Frappe is easy, I really mean easy. It’s as simple as throwing most of the ingredients into a blender and letting it do all the work. You get the fun part at the end by adding the dollop of whipped topping and drizzling chocolate and caramel over the top.
You can add as much or as little as you like. I seem to like more rather than less.
In addition to drizzling chocolate over the top, after you take the glass mugs from the freezer you can drizzle chocolate around the rim of the mug. I mean, more chocolate is NEVER a bad thing, right?
