I’ve been saying for years that I need to invent a sippy cup that didn’t leak and would hold up to my two rambunctious boys. Every sippy cup that I have purchased over the years leaves me disappointed and longing for a solution for the leaky sippy cup problem. It is a constant battle and I’m tired of cleaning up sippy cups leaks in the car, on our hardwood floors, on the carpet, our couch, etc. I just want a sippy cup that does what it’s supposed to do.
Tommee Tippee, a UK based business, is the number one brand of infant and toddler feeding products in Great Britain. Tommee Tippee is known for their clever ideas, quality of their products and simply intuitive designs that promote natural development at every age and stage of your child’s life. Tommee Tippee is now available in the US as well as 44 other countries around the world.
I was sent two packages of the Explora Tommee Tippee sippy cups and they came just in time for our 16 hour road trip to Walt Disney World. We received a package of Stage 1 sippy cups for my sons and a package of Stage 5 sippy cups for my daughter. The Tommee Tippee Explora line of BPA-free toddler drinking and feeding products were designed to take your child from their firsts sips and nibbles to being self-sufficient by easing transitions along the way, while helping to reduce stress and mess at mealtime.
I’m so excited that I have finally found a sippy cup that works. The advance-flo™ valve used in Explora sippy cups was designed by a physicist and requires almost no force to drink from, but it still remains spill-proof and leak-proof. I put different types of liquid in the sippy cup and didn’t have a problem at all until I put sprite in one. It must have something to do with the carbonation because the juice, water and milk did fine. I also like that you can purchase different stages that allow easy transitions from one cup to the other as your children get older.
Not only does Tommee Tippee have exceptional sippy cups, they have a full line of infant and toddler feeding and drinking products. As I was reading up on the company, I learned that it is estimated that Tommee Tippee sells one product every three seconds in the UK and that most households with a child under two own up to 15 Tommee Tippee products. It’s a shame that I’m just now learning about Tommee Tippee. My children are almost two and older so I totally missed out on a lot.

I can attest to the fact that these do not leak. Peyton was swinging his cup all over the place while we were at the Disney conference and none of us got any liquid on us. 🙂
These are also really great looking.

I completely agree with you. I just found these cups too and I feel like I missed out on a great line of products. Both my son and I love Tommee Tippee sippy cups. I can’t believe I finally found a truly spill proof sippy! I hope these products become more widespread in the US like they are in the UK. I’m so grateful that I found these and I tell everyone I know about them!

These cups don’t leak, but it’s a huge pain to have to take apart and wash the valve every time they’re used; it was fine at first, but it wore on me after a while. I gave them a few months but they were too time consuming to wash so I’ve opted for cheaper ones with built-in valves.

I recently purchased 2 sets of the 18 month old “water bottle” style Tommee Tippee cups. I am so fed up with spending so much money on cups that leak all over the place and Tommee Tippee always has great reviews. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong but these cups constantly leak! I make sure the pieces are put together correctly and the lid is on super tight but they always leak one way or another 🙁 I continue to use them because my daughter loves them but I wish I had better luck with them!
