But probably not the kind of test drive you’re thinking about though.
That’s right. I’ll be testing out the new Crest Pro-Health Complete Rinse over the next month and then reporting back with my thoughts.
Proper oral hygiene is a big deal in my house. In fact, you could probably say I’m an extremist. I’m constantly nagging my children about brushing their teeth and flossing, every morning and every night. I think I’m such a freak about oral care because I inherited very weak teeth. When I was growing up, no matter how much I brushed or how much I flossed, every time I headed to the dentist – I had a cavity. I know that genetics are genetics and there isn’t much I can do about that, but I can do my very best to instill good habits with my children. Hopefully by them watching me, it will teach them how to properly take care of their teeth.
I think it is very important to brush your teeth twice a day. I prefer once in the morning and once before bedtime. I know how important it is to floss, but quite honestly I’m horrible at it. And then there’s the mouthwash. I know it’s important too, but I haven’t found one yet that didn’t burn my mouth so usually I skip it. So, I’m looking forward to sharing my experiences with you and letting you know what I think about Crest Pro-Health Complete Rinse.

Let me know how it goes. I had a great laugh the other day in the drugstore where there was a big new display of this and a little girl said, “Mommy, please, please, please can I have some purple water???!!!”. Super cute!

I am currently using Listerine Total Care for about three weeks now and I have noticed that I am getting tiny bumps on my tongue. So I excited to see your follow up post on this product.

I’d like to know your experience with this, too. I don’t like mouthwash either because it tends to burn my mouth also. I was wondering if this would be better because there is no alcohol in it, but then I wondered if it would work as well.
I had the same problem as you did when I was a kid… always a cavity when I went to the dentist as a kid and my dentist was horrible. He also smoked and his fingers tasted like cigarettes (days before they used gloves – I’m OLD!) and it always hurt, so now, I have a true phobia.
Good luck with this test drive. 🙂
