As a busy mommy to three little ones, sometimes I don’t have time or energy to do normal everyday activities let alone those activities that come up every few weeks or months.  ServeMeHere.com is an easy way to aid you in finding service businesses in your area, make your appointments online whether they be in the office or at home plus the ability to review local professionals.

I was just introduced to ServeMeHere.com which is the first of it’s kind. It is a professional services referral community with online appointment feature.  Local professionals such as lawyers, babysitters, tutors, and more can advertise their local services and display their appointment schedule online. You, the client, can browse professional listings, make an appointment online 24/7 and rate the quality of service provided.  What I find particularly unique is that some of the professionals that list on ServeMeHere.com actually make house calls.  This should be exciting for a mom who doesn’t want to tote her van full of children around.

I decided to put ServeMeHere.com to the test by searching for a babysitter in my area.  Unfortunately because I live out in the boonies, I wasn’t able to find any.  But just to see how the service worked and to see if more populated areas would have professionals available, I put in area code 90210 and up popped lots of babysitter/nanny listings.

From the listings, you can see how far they are, whether or not they have a rating from past services and most have a picture.  If you find someone you would like to hire, you can request an appointment from the ‘Make an Appointment’ button and you will be able to see the times available.
