One of the perks of being a Chuggington Conductor is being able to test out the latest and greatest Chuggington products. We recently received the VTech Chuggington Laptop for review and the kiddos have had a grand time testing it out.
In my line of work, my children see me on my laptop A LOT. When they received their own laptop, they were super excited and couldn’t wait for me to take the laptop out of the box.
The VTech Chuggington Laptop features 40 learning activities that help your children learn letters, numbers, counting, shapes, memory, matching, and more. It also features five modes of play: Letters, Numbers, Logic & Games, Exploration Mode, and Adventure. Each mode offers a different type of play but the favorite around here happens to be the Adventure mode because they can play as their favorite character.
This little laptop packs a big bang for your buck. As mentioned above it offers 40 learning activities and during each activity, when your child gets the answer correct, they will earn a badge. My children love earning all the badges! If you are like me and have children of different ages, this would be perfect! My children are 8, 5 and 3 and they all get a kick out of playing with it – even though my eight year old is probably a little too old for it.
In addition to being a good choice for your toddler, it’s also a good choice for you as the parent. In my experience, I’ve noticed that most toys have a blow-your-eardrums-out volume or you can simply turn the volume off. Well, as you know, it’s just not as entertaining when there is no volume. That is why I absolutely love that the VTech Chuggington Laptop offers adjustable volume. In addition, you can also adjust the brightness of the screen.
The only downside I see with the VTech Chuggington Laptop is the size of the screen compared to the size of the laptop. As you can see from the above picture, the screen is actually really small. Hopefully if they decide to make future models, they will reconsider the configuration of the laptop.
