When my cousin and his family moved down to our area a few months ago, I was super excited. They lived close to three hours away, so we didn’t get to see them as often as I would have liked. With them moving to our neck of the woods, we’d be able to see them more often.
Or so I thought.
This summer has just been so incredibly busy and we have not been able to see them as much as we planned. But thankfully, we’ll be able to spend the day with them on Monday.
Seriously. Can’t wait!
Our friends over at Ball Park sent me a recipe for Labor Day that I wanted to share with you. I made my own take on the recipe with only the ingredients I knew the children would like. I would have added the blue corn chips, if we had some, but as you can see my version just had the bun, Ball Park Deli Style Beef Frank (bun size), salsa and I added mozzarella cheese.

I have never had salsa on a hot dog, but it sounds good! I might just have to try out your recipe. What a nice little twist on your average hot dog.

Hope you had a great holiday.
I really miss spending time with Bill’s son and DIL on the holidays. When we all lived in CT we used to spend almost every weekend together. Now with us in FL and them in TX we haven’t seen each other in about 3 years. =(
I also miss having my boys around for all the fun of the holidays and cookouts… so glad you got to have your family for Labor Day.
