Stand Up for Family

We all like to laugh. Right? There is just something about laughing that makes you feel better. But if you’ve ever watched some of the stand up comedians, you know that most of the humor isn’t acceptable for young listeners. Heck, sometimes I don’t even think it’s acceptable for those of us that aren’t considered young anymore.

I recently learned about the Stand Up For Family Comedy Special as part of American Family Insurance‘s commitment to supporting and adding value to consumer’s lives.  This comedy special, which is hosted by the hilariously funny Bill Bellamy, features some of today’s hottest comedians.  But this is different than your traditional comedy series because it’s suitable for all ages and it’s makes for a great time of laughter with the whole family.

Before now I had never heard of Mark Viera, but after watching him, this dude is hysterical.

In one of the videos he talks about his nosy grandmother.  I think we all have one of those and the way he describes her as knowing everything that happens on her block his hilarious.  He also has a video about women loving themselves which is just as funny.  He talks about women today being different from women of the past because we have jobs, make money and pretty much don’t need men anymore.

I appreciate that AmFam has provided a family comedy that the whole family can enjoy. If you haven’t watched any of the videos, I highly recommend that you do!
