I’m always amazed at how quickly my children learn how to use technology.  Their little brains are like sponges, constantly absorbing everything around them and filing it away for use when it’s needed.

the instrumental alphabet appI recently learned about The Instrumental Alphabet App that is available for purchase for your Android devices. It was developed by ZebraMinds, which offers educational content onto mobile devices. The rhytmic story is written by published author Vivien Kooper and narrated by international music artist Chris Daniels.

The Instrumental Alphabet is a finger-snapping, toe-tapping introduction to the A,B,C’s. As they groove to the backbeat of some jazzy tunes, all musical friends from A to Z will take reader on a romping-stomping journey, and make an introduction to some of their heroes along the way. E like Ella, J like Jimmy and John – lets play and find out more about them. The app is optimized for Kindle Fire on Amazon.com and runs on all Android devices. Target audience: 4-10, enjoyed by all ages!

I’m really wishing I had an Android device right now. We are working on the alphabet with my youngest and I would love to be able to use The Instrumental Alphabet App during our study time. And for only $1.99, that’s a steal. Hopefully they develop one for us Apple users soon!

    I would get this Instrument Alphabet app for both my 4yr old son and almost 6yr old daughter. They each enjoy music and learning their letters!

    I want a Kindle Fire as well. I like my regular Kindle, but that Fire is fab. The app sounds great and I’d love to try it out.

    Make sure your hubby reads this post! LOL… Maybe he’s getting you one for Mother’s Day. They’re $149 at Walmart. Oops, don’t tell Amazon I said that. 😉

    I would get this appear for my grandchildren, their ages range from three
    To 7 weeks. Already my one year old granddaughter is counting and starting her
    Abc’s so I think it would benefit them all.

    I would like to have this for my son. He has aspergers and seems to benefit from some of the newer technological advances that have been made available to him in his communications classroom. I don’t really have the money for something like this so this would be an awesome surprise for him.
