The Best Beginning for Mom and Baby | Maclaren Beginning Product Line

There is no doubt that there are a ton of products on store shelves that we probably shouldn’t allow in our homes.  From personal care products, to food products and even clothing, some things are better kept on the store shelves.

When it comes to my children, I’m pretty protective.  I don’t want to do anything that could possibly hurt them and I surely don’t want to expose them to harmful ingredients in certain products.

While you can’t be 100% certain of the products you’re using, I try to look for products that are organic and pediatrician tested.  I have more confidence in my decision as a parent when I see the product is backed by pediatricians.

I recently received some products from Maclaren that are part of their Beginning line.  This line was developed for babies and their mothers to provide products that were gentle, delicate and safe for babies skin.  Plus, they’re pediatrician tested!

I obviously don’t have “babies” anymore, but I still use baby wash for my two younger children.  I figure as long as I can get it past them, I’ll keep using what’s safest and gentle on their skin.  For the past month or so, they have been using the Beginning products we received.  They did mention a difference in the scent, but after the second use or so, it wasn’t brought up again.  It’s definitely not a baby scent, and if you’ve used natural and organic products before, you already know the scents are different from mainstream products.  I’m guessing that has to do with the natural and essential oils.  In the month we’ve been using the products, we have not noticed any adverse reactions and I like knowing that my children are using products that are organic and safe for their skin.

As far as I could tell on the packaging of the products I received, all are cruelty free and vegan.  They range in percentage of organic ingredients used, some 100% and some down to 83%. Maclaren uses a holistic approach to skin care by encompassing aromatherapy, essential oils, and organic materials. This makes me feel comfortable using Maclaren Beginning products on my family.
