I’ve stayed in many hotels during my travels, but I’ve never stayed in a room as huge as the Dallas Suite at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. My family of five needs more space than a standard hotel room offers, but the Dallas Suite offered us so much more!
A special thanks to the Sheraton Dallas Hotel and the Dallas CVB for the complimentary stay.
During our two nights at the hotel, we were there only to sleep, minus the hour or two we spent at the pool to allow the children some water time. I don’t have very good pictures of the hotel, mainly because it was dark in most parts of the hotel room and I haven’t quite mastered low-light photography. But, regardless of the quality of the pictures of the room, you’ll be able to see the massive size.
Y’all, this is just the front part of the Dallas Suite! It’s massive. It was more than enough room for the five of us.
Sheraton Dallas Hotel
There was a dining table, sectional sofa with sleeper and plenty of room for the children to play around in the front room. In the hallway there was an extra full bathroom which really came in handy with five people. In addition, the main bedroom had a bathroom and two queen beds. There was a work station in both the front room and the bedroom.
The mattresses in the bedroom were extremely soft and comfortable, the pillows however, were a different story. They were all so soft and fluffy that I felt like when I laid my head down, the pillows were suffocating my face. I had to sleep without a pillow. I thought about calling to see if they had other pillow options, but in the end I decided to just deal with it.
The bathrooms were stocked with toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash and a razor. There was also a blow dryer available. A single-serve coffee maker was also in the bedroom along with Starbucks coffee. There were also complimentary bottles of water.
During our stay at the hotel, there were two conferences going on in the area. We were a little nervous on arrival thinking it was going to be a nightmare to get up and down from our 34th floor room, but never once did we wait more than a few seconds for an elevator ride.
In addition to the cost of your hotel room, be prepared to pay for parking. It was $24 a day for self-parking and $29 a day for valet. With the parking garage being across the street from the hotel, if you are self-parking I would suggest unloading prior to parking so that you are not toting your luggage throughout the parking garage, across the breezeway and through the hotel.
The staff was courteous and quickly handled any questions or concerns we had. Overall, the Dallas Suite at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel was a wonderful choice for our family. When we head back to Dallas we will definitely look into the Dallas Suite again.

See, I used to travel with a pillow because of what you said. Then I left my pillow in a hotel and now I’m too scared to bring one again. However, as long as the mattress is a happy place, I can live with whatever pillow they give me.
And that suite is monstrous!
Donna says
I love suites, especially since having our son, I just want a bigger room. 🙂 Cleanliness is a MUST!

That looks like a fantastic hotel! When I stay at a hotel I have a list….
Continental breakfast, Free Parking, AC, Free internet and CLEAN. If it has all that…I’m usually pretty happy.

A good bed followed by amenities offered are my top two things. That is definitely a room that would be comfortable for our family of five as well, it’s massive.
