It’s Something Special to Me

I haven’t really shared too much of my love of music here on the blog because it is something that is very special to me.  Music is my safety net. The place I fall when I just need to escape the moment.  When I’m working and I need to refocus, I turn on music. When I’m sad and I need some uplifting, I turn on music. When I’m happy and I feel like dancing, I turn on music. Music is a happy place for me.

I’ve been singing for many years and singing is what brought my husband and I together.  And twelve years later we are still singing together.  Our children sing and hum almost constantly.  I love to hear them belt out a tune. Music is really special to our family and we’ve been enjoying it a little bit different lately.

The sound that comes from this portable speaker is crisp and clear. Being able to play music from my iPhone and my Sony Xperia Tablet just makes me love this speaker even more. I don’t have to plug anything in, just pair my device with the speaker, connect via Bluetooth and music is just a touch of the screen away.

Setup is a breeze because there is none.  It’s as simple as connecting it to an electrical outlet and you are good to go.  If you want to use the speaker where there is no electrical outlet, the built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery will give you about 8 hours of audio playback time. I love that it is portable so I can move it around the house or even take it outside for outdoor entertaining.

You can also use the Sony Bluetooth Wireless Speaker as a hands free handset to take phone calls. This makes it easy for me when I’m working to be able to continue to use my hands while talking on the phone.

Oh, and another useful feature is the rearmounted USB port that can charge your compatible audio sources, such as digital music players, smartphones, or tablets.

I’m getting much more use out of this speaker than I initially thought I would. It’s become part of my every day life and I absolutely love being able to start music on the speaker from anywhere within my house.
