Mint Chocolate Pudding Fudge. Just the name of this dessert sounds incredibly decadent, doesn’t it? But the photos really show you just how decadent this dessert really is.
Chocolate. Peppermints. Marshmallows. Seriously, y’all! Perfect for a night in with the family, sitting in front of the television with a cup of hot chocolate.
And the best part, it’s so easy to make. Like really, really easy! I’ll show you!
Melt chocolate, butter and water in a bowl.
Pour in the packet of chocolate pudding and mint extract and stir.
Add powdered sugar in one cup increments and stir until blended.
Pour mixture into a foil-lined 8″ x 8″ pan. Melt remaining chocolate and butter and pour over the top.
Top with crushed peppermints and mini marshmallows.
Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm and try to wait to sneak a taste.
I know, y’all. Two hours is hard. But it’s oh so worth it.
So much chocolate. So many marshmallows. And all that crushed peppermint…simply a perfect combination for this wicked winter weather we are experiencing here in Texas after having a 80 degree Christmas!

Mint Chocolate Pudding Fudge
Mint Chocolate Pudding Fudge = Mint. Chocolate. Marshmallows. All ingredients in this decadent dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 packages (4 oz. each) Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided
- 1/2 cup butter, divided
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp. mint extract (original recipe calls for peppermint extract)
- 1 package (3.9 oz) Chocolate flavor instant pudding
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2/3 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1/3 cup finely crushed peppermints
Instructions
Notes
Store cut-up fudge between sheets of waxed paper in airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
We’re going on 6 days in the refrigerator and I’m noticing that the crushed peppermints and marshmallows aren’t looking as fresh. Although they still taste great, they’re just not looking their best. I think about 5 max in the refrigerator is probably best if you want to LOOK and TASTE great!
Although Christmas has passed we still have some celebrating to do on New Years. Whip up a batch of this Mint Chocolate Pudding Fudge, set up a hot chocolate bar, and invite the neighbors over for some good, family-friendly fun!
How do you sweeten the season?

This does look good. I’m not a big fan of pepperment but the chocolate and marshmallows would hit the spot.
