See why I love the Ninja Coffee Bar in my Ninja Coffee Bar review. Although I received it for the sake of this review, all opinions and thoughts are my own.
It doesn’t take long to figure out once you’ve landed in my little corner of the web that I don’t hide the fact that coffee is pretty much my everything. I think the logo does a pretty good job of giving that away.
And there’s good reason for it.
Although I work from home, I hold many job titles. Not only am I a business owner, I’m a teacher (I homeschool two of my children), I’m the Administrator at our church, and then add on the responsibilities of being a mother and wife. My life is one big ‘ol jumble of stuff to do.
But even in the midst of it all, there’s nothing like waking up in the morning and having my morning coffee ready within 5 minutes of my feet hitting the floor.
Because within the first five minutes of being awake, I’ve already fed the dog, let him out to pee twice (for real!!), woke up the kids, put out a fire or two between the children, stepped on a LEGO, broke my fitness watch by accidentally hitting it on the door frame coming out of my bedroom, and almost fell when I slipped on a sock someone left on the hardwood floor.
So, yay for quick, delicious coffee!
The Ninja Coffee Bar allows you to choose from four brewing options and four brewing sizes making it the perfect machine for a single cup of coffee, a full carafe of coffee, or a specialty coffee. Because moms, I know that some days require a full carafe…and it’s okay.
Really, it’s okay.
Ninja Coffee Bar Review
As with any new items, once you get the Ninja Coffee Bar out of the box, wash all the parts. I know that probably goes without saying, but it’s so important since you’ll be ingesting the product made from the machine. Also, it’s best to read the instructions before brewing to get familiar with the machine and its features (because they’re pretty cool).
What’s Included in the Box

- Glass Carafe (or thermal carafe depending on model purchased)

- 100-Recipe Coffee Book
How to Make a Cup of Coffee
For the sake of this Ninja Coffee Bar review, I’m showing you how to brew a single cup of coffee. If you want to make a full carafe, half carafe, or tumbler serving size, it’s basically the same except you will choose the correct size option on the turn dial on the front of the machine.
Before using the Ninja Coffee Bar make sure the removable water reservoir is full of filtered water to the max fill line. Since I’m showing you how to make a single cup in this Ninja Coffee Bar Review, I have the turn dial on the single cup option. To change it, simple turn the dial to the appropriate serving size.
When making a single cup serving, pull down the cup lever on the machine. If making a carafe, this lever will need to be raised.
Using the double-sided Ninja scoop, place two or three smaller scoops into the permanent filter (or you can use a triangular-shaped coffee filter). If making a carafe, flip the scoop over and use the larger scoop. The scoop shows you the suggested scoop amounts but you can change it depending on your preferences. Push the filter back into the machine.
You can now choose the brewing option you prefer. The Thermal Flavor Extraction technology enables you to dial up flavor richness from Classic Brew to Rich Brew to Over Ice Brew in the size you want. It also gives you the capability to select Specialty Brew (Concentrated Coffee) for hot and frozen blended specialty coffeehouse-style drinks.
Once you’ve selected your desired brewing option, the machine starts working almost immediately to deliver a smooth, delicious coffee.
The Ninja Coffee Bar comes with a nifty Ninja Easy Frother. Its purpose is to transform any type of milk into a frothy foam for your favorite drinks. If you want to use the frother, while the coffee is brewing, fill it to the appropriate fill level and place in the microwave according to the directions. Using the rubber around the glass frother jar, carefully remove it from the microwave without burning yourself.
Place the frother inside of the glass jar and pump to the line indicated on the jar. Do this until you achieve the foamy froth you desire.
I like to use the warm milk left at the bottom of the frother as a creamer.
And then I like to add the foam on top before I drizzle some delicious caramel as a sweetener.
All this in under 5 minutes, y’all! A delicious, perfectly brewed, cup of coffee.
When doing reviews for brands I try to test out every function and capability to see if it holds up to the claims. The same holds true for this Ninja Coffee Bar review. I’ve tested everything on this machine and it has yet to give me a sub par result. Occasionally when I have it on Drip Stop, a drop will come out and land on the heating element or in the carafe, but it’s not enough to cause me to worry. And cleaning all the parts is sometimes a pain, but it’s nothing that’s wrong with the machine…just me.
I’m thoroughly enjoying having the Ninja Coffee Bar in my kitchen. I love that it allows me a variety of options and not just a whole pot or a single cup. I can choose just how strong I need it on any given day. And that makes me incredibly happy.
