This is a partnered post with Tampico. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
During the summer months here in Texas we often see temperatures over 100 degrees for hours a day. Add in high humidity with those kinds of temperatures and it just makes for a downright miserable day if you have to be outside. So naturally, we like to cool down with ice cold drinks or treats, like this delicious Easy Tampico Island Punch Sorbet.
Although it’s scorching hot in Texas during the summer, there are so many fun things to do outside to keep my children entertained through the summer months. I’ve found that the water hose, as cheap as one is, can provide hours of fun for my children while watering the grass, too! I feel like I’m getting more bang for my buck that way.
Then there’s the neighborhood pool where they can meet up with their friends and swim to their little hearts desire. Being in the water seems to be how my children like to hang out. Which is cool with me because we just bought a boat and we’ve been spending every weekend at the lake. Sunsets on the lake are the best!
With summer in full swing, we’re trying to enjoy all parts of summer, even the humid, hot weather. And special treats, like this Easy Tampico Island Punch Sorbet, helps to keep us cool while also giving us a sweet treat to enjoy.
And one of the best parts of Easy Tampico Island Punch Sorbet is that it’s so EASY to make! You don’t need an ice cream maker to make this sorbet — how awesome is that?

Easy Tampico Island Punch Sorbet
Enjoy this Easy Tampico Island Punch Sorbet on a hot summer day. The tropical flavor combination of pineapple, orange, and banana will make you think you're on a tropical beach sipping a drink with an umbrella.
Ingredients
- Tampico Island Punch Juice - enough to fill a 14 cube ice tray
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- fresh orange slices, for garnish
Other tools needed
Instructions
What did I tell you? So easy, right? This tropical sorbet is the perfect treat for those hot summer days ahead.
If you don’t have a blender or Ninja, you can still make Easy Tampico Island Punch Sorbet. I like the ice tray way because it’s super simple and I can just throw it in the freezer and forget about it, but there is another way.
If you have a glass casserole dish at home, pour enough Tampico Island Punch into the dish to cover the bottom and mix in 1/2 cup – 1 cup orange juice (it depends on the size dish you have). Put the dish in the freezer and occasionally take it out and scrape the top. Do this until all of the juice is frozen. This will produce a more icier finished product, but it still tastes good! It’s just not as creamy.
Using a glass casserole dish to make this Easy Tampico Island Punch Sorbet takes a little more effort, and a lot more remembering to scrape, so if you have a Ninja or a blender, go that route. It’s so much simpler.
You can easily double or triple the recipe by making more frozen juice cubes. The recipe above was just enough for two servings of Easy Tampico Island Punch Sorbet. So if you need more, and you probably will, go ahead and double it.
With only two ingredients I’m not sure you can really call this a recipe, but I wanted to show you just how easy it was to make your own sorbet at home. Because Tampico juice and orange juice are sweet already, you don’t need to add any additional sweeteners.
