Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Shampoo and Conditioner + Giveaway (Closed)

Another month is here and it’s time for my monthly highlight in the H-E-B Beauty Blogger Program.  This month we are focusing on the new Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Shampoo and Conditioner.

I know we focused on hair last month, but keeping with the same theme we are going to talk hair again.  Next month will not be hair — I promise!

I’ve noticed a huge increase in the amount of companies who are making products that are easier on our environment, like the new Garnier Fructis Pure Clean line.  The formula contains no silicones, no parabens and no dye and it’s a 92% biodegradable formula. I’ve been using the shampoo and conditioner for the last couple of weeks as part of my monthly assignment and I have mixed reviews.  There are some things I love about it and some things I don’t like.

Let’s start with the good.  The scent is lovely.  I love the way the bathroom smells when I’m done taking a shower and my hair smells wonderful — even after it’s dry!  I appreciate companies who care enough about our environment to make eco-friendly products.

My hair is long and my hair is extremely oily and unfortunately this shampoo doesn’t work well with my oily hair; it makes it worse.  I’m assuming it’s because it’s the “normal” formula and my hair is anything but “normal”.  If you have “normal” hair, I’m sure your experience will probably be better than mine.

I would like to try the Pure Clean shampoo. It sounds like it would clean without leaving heavy residue behind. I hate washing my hair and than have it look dirty because it is weighed down
