L’Oreal EverSleek Review & Giveaway

Okay, I know I’ve written about my hair a few times these last few months, but it’s only because I’ve had the opportunity to try some really awesome hair products as part of my participation as a H-E-B Beauty Blogger.  This month, I reviewed L’Oreal EverSleek Shampoo and Conditioner and I’m absolutely loving the way my hair feels.

I’ve been using both the shampoo and conditioner for approximately three weeks.  I usually wash my hair every single day (if not my hair gets super oily) and in the past it has proven to be pretty tough on my hair.  In addition to washing it every day, I usually have to blow dry my hair too — sometimes I even have to use a flat-iron.  I  know, my poor hair, but I seriously don’t have any other options.  My hair has a mind of it’s own.

While using the shampoo, I had a hard time spreading the shampoo around my head.  While it lathered well, I felt that it was really thick and I had to use more because once I put the shampoo in one area, it stayed there.  I also had a hard time when it came to getting the shampoo out of my hair.  I guess because I was using so much, it just took more time to get it all out. The conditioner on the other hand, was so creamy and so luxurious.  It smoothed across my hair and left my hair feeling so incredibly soft.

After washing my hair and before using the blow dryer, I applied the Frizz Taming Crème Serum and noticed a huge difference in the ends of my hair. Before using the serum, my ends would get a little frizzy after blow drying but I’m happy to report that after using the serum my ends look and feel much smoother! A HUGE plus for me.

I’m big on scents and this set definitely doesn’t disappoint.  The Argan, Sunflower Oil and Olive Oils leave your hair perfectly scented and super soft and manageable.

I happened to stumble on your site and love it! Thanks for your honest opinions. I would love to try the L’Oreal EverSleek Frizz Taming Crème Serum. I hate all the money I have wasted trying new product for my flyaway hair. After having my baby, my hair just isn’t as smooth as it use to be and I have been trying various product and have been disappointed each time. I guess frizzy hair is a small price to pay for a beautiful baby boy, but it wouldn’t hurt to want pretty hair either. :)
