If you’ve ever experienced an UTI, then I’m sure you will be happy to hear about physician and pharmacist recommended Cystex Urinary Pain Relief Tablets. Cystex is an over the counter medication designed to help ease the pain and discomfort of an UTI.
According to the website:
Cystex® is the only over-the-counter urinary pain reliever available with a dual-action formula that not only eases the pain and burning caused by a urinary tract infection (UTI), but also contains an antibacterial (methenamine) to help keep the infection from getting worse while you wait for your doctor’s appointment. It won’t cause a change in your urine color either.
Cystex has a fantastic website full of information about UTI’s that aids you in understanding a little bit more about them. There is also an “Ask the Urologist” feature that I find to be very useful. Dr. Elizabeth Kavaler is the Urologist behind the scenes and is 1 of 500 doctors nationwide that specialize in female urinary tract issues. She will be thrilled to answer any questions that you may have.
I recommend that you also watch these Cystex: Know Your Bladder Videos. You will learn more about bladder health issues and how to avoid an urinary tract infections in the future.
To gain the most benefit from using Cystex, children over the age of 12 and adults should take two tablets with a full glass of water four times daily without exceeding 8 tablets daily. It is also recommended that you drink water during the course of the day as well. Since Cystex is not meant to cure a urinary tract infection, you will still need to consult your physician for a diagnosis and antibiotics.
I received a sample box of Cystex but have been incredibly thankful that I haven’t had to use it. It has actually been years since I’ve had an UTI, but I will keep the box on hand just in case.
You can purchase Cystex on Amazon or at a number of drug stores nationwide.
